Vehicle Rollover Accident, 25 Rd & Patterson Rd

Three Single vehicle rollover accident with one person pinned in a vehicle at 25 Road and Patterson Rd. Semi truck with no trailer, and two other vehicles involved Larger SUV involved with possibly one elderly person injured. A power pole is cracked and leaning into the roadway. Patterson road eastbound lanes are closed. Power lines are down in the roadway on 25 Road. There is a power outage at the intersection and buildings surrounding area / blocks.

Traffic lights are out at 25 Rd & Patterson and 24 1/2 Rd & Patterson. Police are out directing traffic and have multiple detours setup.

Correction: radio traffic from police indicate this is a single vehicle accident, not a three vehicle as previously reported.

On January 13, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., first responders with the Grand Junction Police Department and Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of 25 Road and Patterson Road. The intersection is closed, and law enforcement will remain on scene for several hours. Please avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle had rolled and crashed into a power pole, causing significant property damage. The passenger was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol is not suspected.
