At 11:46 a.m. today, Grand Junction Fire Department crews responded to a call for help at Devil’s Kitchen, where a hiker had slipped and injured their knee. Our firefighters quickly hiked the trail, located the patient, and safely carried them to an ambulance for transport.
GJFD crews train extensively on local trails and recreation areas to ensure they can navigate the terrain efficiently and provide the best possible care when you need it most.
