Part of a metal roof has blown onto a nearby power line by the wind near East Cleveland Avenue and South Maple Street in Fruita. The metal caused power lines to spark and has knocked out power in the area. Fruita police and fire department are in the area. Xcel Power has been notified and will be responding.
