Police Request Help Locating CMU Campus Vandalism Suspects

On March 17, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to multiple reports of vandalism which occurred at Colorado Mesa University, located at 1100 North Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they found multiple antigovernment and racist sayings spray-painted on various parts of campus.

Surveillance video captured images of two masked subjects believed to be involved. These subjects are described as a white male with a bun wearing a two-tone dark sweatshirt and dark sweats in a light-colored mask and a white female wearing a two-toned striped sweatshirt and sandals in a light-colored mask.

The Grand Junction Police Department is requesting assistance in locating these suspects. If anyone has information about her whereabouts, they are asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 970-242-6707 and reference GJPD case number 25-16894.
