Police Arrest Male for Internet Sex Crime

The Grand Junction Police Department received multiple tips from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force program regarding possible child sexual exploitative material being accessed from an IP address in Grand Junction. Following a thorough investigation, detectives established probable cause to contact and arrest the individual suspected of possessing the material.

On April 9, 2025, officers and detectives with the Grand Junction Police Department arrested Samuel Farley, age 28, and transported him to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where he was booked for Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

The Grand Junction Police Department urges anyone who suspects child exploitation or encounters suspicious online behavior to report it immediately to local law enforcement or through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Childrenโ€™s CyberTipline at www.report.cybertip.org.
