
Police are in the area of Noland Avenue and South 8th Street for a possible stabbing. Second-hand information that a 40-year-old male has been stabbed at a residence on Noland Avenue. Police have the female suspect in custody after a short foot pursuit. Officers found a knife inside the home with a small amount of dried blood on it, but have not yet found any victim.
Update: Police believe the victim is at St Mary’s Hospital.

On June 23, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Noland Avenue and South 8th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male and female had been involved in a domestic dispute, during which the male sustained a stab wound. He was transported to the hospital with serious bodily injury.
Before officers arrived on scene, the female suspect fled the area on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, she was located and taken into custody. The suspect has been identified as Nicole Parks, age 35.
Officers with the Grand Junction Police Department arrested Nicole Parks on the following charges:
- Assault in the 1stย Degree
- Felony Menacing
- Obstructing a Peace Officer
- Domestic Violence
This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no further information at this time.
