Brush fire with an entire tree engulfed in flames near Gunnison Avenue and North 25th Street. A loud boom was heard before the fire started, possibly from fireworks. The fire is threatening nearby homes, but appears contained to the tree and front yard, not currently spreading.
Fire crews on scene are extinguishing the fire and are reporting no threat to any structures.
Police reported that an additional small fire on North 25th Street was extinguished with fire extinguishers.
