GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Sept. 25, 2025 — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has identified two people found dead on Sept. 23 at a residence at 481 28 1/2 Road as Tori Godina, 65, and Brian McCarty, 38, both of Grand Junction.
Autopsies determined both died from gunshot wounds, the coroner reported. Preliminary investigative and autopsy findings do not indicate the involvement of any other individuals, though the investigation remains ongoing.
The Grand Junction Police Department is overseeing the case and will release further updates.
