Two Arrested in Grand Junction Apartment Burglary

Grand Junction, CO – Officers from the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a burglary in progress at the Four Points Apartments on 1222 Elm Avenue early on October 31, 2025, around 1:20 a.m., following a report of a break-in.

During the investigation, it was determined that the suspects had followed a group from the Lux Ultra Lounge to the apartment, entered unlawfully, and refused to leave. Before exiting, they punched a hole in the wall and then kicked the apartment door.

The two individuals were contacted by officers and taken into custody without incident. They were booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility.

Kyle Elizardo, 24, was charged with:
– 1st Degree Criminal Trespass of Inhabited Dwelling
– Complicity
– 2nd Degree Burglary of a Dwelling
– Criminal Mischief
– Harassment
– Domestic Violence

Reece Frick, 19, was charged with:
– 2nd Degree Burglary of a Dwelling
– Criminal Mischief
– Harassment
– Domestic Violence
