
From the Grand Junction Police Department:
On November 14, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to Best Buy, located at 585 24 1/2 Road, for a robbery. Reporting parties stated a male was exiting the store with stolen merchandise. When he was approached by a store employee, the suspect threatened the employee with a firearm and left the store prior to law enforcement arrival.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., officers located the suspect in the parking lot of Wendy’s, located at 2010 North Avenue. Two males, Pierce Yarian and Nicholas Brights, were contacted and taken into custody without incident.

Pierce Yarian, age 28, was arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- Aggravated Robbery
- Controlled Substance – Distribute Fentanyl <4G.
- Unlawful Possession >4g Controlled Substance Sch I/II
- Menacing Real / Simulated Weapon
- Theft ($2,000 – $5,000)
- Possession of Burglary Tools
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Nicholas Bright, age 39, was arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- Aggravated Robbery
- Menacing Real / Simulated Weapon
- Theft ($2,000 – $5,000)
- Possession of Burglary Tools
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The Grand Junction Police Department believes this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing danger to the community.
