Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at a residence near Grant Court and Lynwood Avenue in Orchard Mesa. Units reported a small two-story home with a working fire and light smoke showing from the alpha side; Engine 4 announced it would pull a line and assume command with an offensive strategy. Crews reported the lower level was not involved and said the fire appeared to be a cooking fire that spread to cabinets above.
No injuries reported. Fire was quickly extinguished by fire fighters.
