Littleton Resident Identified in Fatal I-70 Crash Near Palisade

PALISADE, Colo. — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a weekend crash on Interstate 70 near Palisade as Sean Davies, 35, of Littleton, Colorado.

According to a media release from Coroner Dean Havlik, Davies was the restrained driver of a vehicle that left the roadway and crashed late in the morning on Saturday, Nov. 22, near mile marker 41 on I-70 in Palisade. He was not ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy has been completed, and the coroner’s office reports that Davies’ cause of death was related to the injuries he sustained in the motor vehicle crash.
