GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A woman with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested early Thursday morning after deputies say she fled a traffic stop and was found with methamphetamine, cocaine, and loaded syringes in her vehicle.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies recognized 30-year-old Kendra Erickson of Grand Junction around 2:15 a.m. on November 27, 2025, while she was driving near Bristol Court and D Road. Erickson was known to have several active warrants, and deputies attempted a traffic stop.

When Erickson allegedly failed to pull over, a deputy performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver near 30 and D roads after multiple attempts to get the driver to comply. The maneuver disabled the vehicle following what deputies described as a very short pursuit. Erickson, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken into custody.

During a search of Erickson and the vehicle, deputies reported finding more than 2 ounces of methamphetamine, approximately 7.5 grams of cocaine, and multiple loaded syringes. A subsequent search during the jail booking process allegedly uncovered additional suspected methamphetamine hidden inside Erickson’s undergarments, resulting in an additional contraband charge.
