Callers reported a male lying on the ground, at least one vehicle smoking and a possible trapped occupant. A vehicle possibly continued to hit a utility pole. An off-duty nurse reporting a male with a head laceration is conscious and breathing. Fire crews are using extrication tools to rescue a trapped occupant from a vehicle. Eastbound lanes of Patterson are blocked by the crash.
Two people are being transported to the hospital. One with moderate injuries, another with serious life-threatening injuries.
