
The Grand Junction Police Department’s SWAT Team is set to host its annual ‘Stuff the Bearcat’ event to collect toys for children in need. On Sunday, December 7, 2025, SWAT operators will be stationed outside the Target entrance at Mesa Mall, gathering new, unwrapped toys to support Toys for Tots and spread holiday cheer across Mesa County.
This initiative underscores the GJPD’s dedication to community service, ensuring that local children experience the joy of receiving gifts during the holidays. In addition to the main event, a donation box will be available in the GJPD lobby at 555 Ute Avenue until December 12 for early drop-offs.
