GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – A 59-year-old Grand Junction resident, Julie Armbruster, died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a roadway on Friday night, according to a media release from the Mesa County Coroner’s Office.
The incident occurred near 731 27 Road in Grand Junction at approximately 11:00 pm on December 5. Armbruster was a pedestrian crossing the road at the time she was hit.
She sustained injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office stated that an autopsy has been completed and confirmed her death was related to the injuries received in the incident.
