A multi-vehicle crash was reported around 5:15 a.m. on I-70 eastbound at mile marker 60 just west of the De Beque exit. Dispatchers said a passenger car rear-ended a semi-truck, which led to additional collisions including a secondary rollover that may have involved a smaller pickup. Fire and local rescue units responded and Colorado State Patrol troopers were dispatched.
