Police were in a short foot pursuit with a male suspect in the area of Unaweep Avenue and 27 1/2 Road near Orchard Mesa Middle School. The suspect was possibly involved in recent bicycle thefts. Officers caught the suspect and took him safely into custody.
Update: An ambulance is responding emergent to the arrest location to assist the suspect for either a head injury or a drug overdose.
