A vehicle versus motorcycle crash was reported about 2:20 p.m. at West 8th Street and Iowa Avenue. Palisade Rescue, ambulance units and local law enforcement responded.
Radio traffic indicated the motorcyclist was found on the ground, not breathing and not wearing a helmet. Responders initiated CPR. Officers on scene blocked West 8th Street and were diverting traffic in the area.
Update: This is a confirmed fatal crash.
