At about 5:01 PM, Lower Valley fire units and EMS were dispatched to a head-on collision at H Road and 21 1/2 Road.
Radio traffic indicated one male occupant was trapped in a vehicle, conscious and breathing, with airbags deployed. Callers reported two vehicles locked together in the intersection, one described as a white Chevy pickup, the other as a black Dodge.
The trapped male occupant was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The other driver is being evaluated for a minor hip injury.
