Police are on scene of a vehicle vs building crash at the Loves Truck Stop on Highway 6 & 50 and 22 Road. The incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. The male suspect fled the scene in a vehicle on I-70 and was taken into custody after a traffic stop near Fruita. The suspect was seen ranting and yelling about “mental health” prior to touching a woman inappropriately at the Carl Jrs. Witnesses state the male might have attempted to hit someone with their vehicle before crashing into the building. No injuries are reported. A fire truck is dispatched to check the building structure. Broken glass and debris is reported at the gas station.
