A single-vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 152 on Highway 141 in Whitewater after a driver swerved to avoid a deer. A 29-year-old male driver was reported conscious and breathing with a possibly minor head injury. The truck is described as a Silver Ram and is down at the bottom of the ravine. EMS is on scene evaluating the driver. Rescue crews from Orchard Mesa and sheriff deputies from Clifton responded to the incident. State Patrol will handle the crash report.
