An assault was reported around 2:50 p.m. in the 3000 block of Arna Drive. Radio traffic indicated a teenage to early 20s aged male was conscious and breathing with a large contusion to the back of his head and significant facial bleeding. A police officer on scene is assisting with bleeding control. Officers are searching the area for the suspect who may have fled the scene.
