Multiple callers reported shortly before 4:26 p.m. that a silver Subaru with no rear license plate was swerving, speeding and went off the road, striking a sign near High Desert Road and West Ridges Boulevard. A female driver, possibly intoxicated, was seen attempting to leave the area on foot, and asking bystanders for a ride. Law enforcement and fire crews are dispatched.
