Vehicle vs bicycle reported shortly before 10:45 a.m. at Riverside Parkway and S 7th Street near the Botanical Gardens. Radio traffic indicated a 45-year-old male cyclist was conscious and breathing, up and walking out of the roadway and was seen limping after being struck. Witnesses described the striking vehicle as a light-blue small SUV traveling toward the Botanical Gardens; EMS was en route to evaluate the cyclist.
Law enforcement is speaking with all parties involved and are investigating.
