Radio traffic indicated a hillside brush fire spreading toward the home, coming within roughly 30 feet and igniting a nearby tree; the residence was evacuated. Crews reported a poor water supply and were relying on a tender to support operations. Command later cleared most units, leaving Engine 5, Engine 3 and Tender 3 to continue on scene.
