Fire crews responded about 8:45 p.m. to reports of smoke at the Retreat at Harbor nursing facility, 2835 Patterson Road. Staff reported a dryer in the downstairs laundry room of Building 3 was smoking with no visible flames. Crews reported a light haze in the laundry room, requested positive-pressure ventilation fans. Units later reported the fire was out and said it was possibly a pile of rags in the dryer. No injuries were reported.
