A brush / garage fire was reported around 1:00 p.m. in the 200 block of Alice Avenue north of B 1/2 Road. Callers reported a neighbor’s fence was on fire and flames had spread into the yards, coming within about 5 to 10 feet of the residence and threatening a garage; callers believed no one was home.
Crews arrived on scene and reported a single-story residence with a working garage and yard fire. Radio traffic did not indicate any injuries.
