Fire crews responded around 1:50 p.m. to reports from a neighbor of flames and smoke in the 400 block of East Grove Drive. Units including Engine 21, Engine 22 and chief officers responded with lights and sirens.
Radio traffic indicated the blaze was concentrated on the side of the residence; crews made entry and reported no interior extension. Responders located a hydrant by a nearby stop sign, secured utilities and pulled a hose line to that hydrant. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
Details are based on live scanner traffic and may change as official information is released.
