
Fire and EMS units responded around 12:58 p.m. to the Riverfront Wildlife Trail near 29 1/4 Road for three people reported stuck in the river. Scanner traffic indicated the inner tube remained in the water and the subjects were pinned in a tree. One person was reported to have a foot injury and another female caller was said to have recently had surgery; responders said the parties could not self-extricate. Crews discussed launching inflatable boats from the 30 Road/29 Road area and walking east along the riverfront trail to make contact and perform a water rescue.
