
GRAND JUNCTION, CO — An 18-year-old man was arrested late Saturday night after allegedly damaging property, kicking a dog, and attempting to crash his car into another vehicle following a domestic dispute.
On May 16, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Grand Junction Police Department officers responded to a reported assault in progress in the 2000 block of Poplar Drive.
According to investigators, a verbal dispute between a male and a female escalated when the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Corbyn Lively, damaged the female’s property and kicked her dog.
As Lively was leaving the residence, he noticed another man arriving in a truck to assist the female. Lively then followed the truck in his own vehicle, driving erratically and attempting to crash into it. When the truck stopped, Lively exited his vehicle, began punching the truck, and damaged one of its windows.

Lively was arrested and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where he was booked on the following charges:
- Attempted Vehicular Assault
- Criminal Mischief ($1,000 – $2,000)
- Harassment
- Reckless Endangerment
- Cruelty to Animals
- Domestic Violence
