An ambulance crew requested law enforcement shortly after 5:20 p.m. at Lark Drive and D 1/2 Road after a patient escaped from the ambulance and broke a window. The crew requested officers respond with lights and sirens; fire units were also involved in radio traffic.

Dispatch transmissions indicated the patient fled southbound from the intersection and damaged the ambulance. Subsequent radio traffic said the patient was in contact with responders and walking near Thrush and Lark. The incident is possibly related to another medical call in the area were a patient smashed out another window, causing traumatic injury to their hand.
