Fire and EMS units from Grand Junction responded around 7:10 a.m. after reports of smoke outside a building in the 300 block of Lake Road. On arrival crews reported light smoke and located a small smoldering fire in the back of a shed. The fire was extinguished with a water can, the area was searched. Crews reported no additional hazards or injuries.
