A yard fire was reported about 5:11 p.m. in the 500 block of South Mulberry Street. Lower Valley fire units, an ambulance crew and law enforcement responded.
Radio traffic indicated the fire was burning in a front yard roughly four feet from a house and that there may be animals inside. Crews reported the blaze was mostly out on arrival. Crews quickly extinguished any remaining fire. No injuries were reported.
