A motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash was reported at Pine Street and Pabor Avenue. Fruita police and Lower Valley fire/EMS units responded to the scene.
Radio traffic indicated a 29-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious and breathing and complained of pelvic pain. The vehicle involved was described as a silver Subaru Forester. The rider said he had been following the car to get a license plate and that the car possibly brake-checked the motorcycle. Law enforcement is also on scene investigating what caused the incident.
