CLIFTON, CO — A 22-year-old Clifton man was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the online possession of child pornography.
In January 2026, investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office received a tip regarding a local resident possibly engaging with child pornography images online. During the course of the investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Jacub White, 22, of Clifton.
An arrest warrant was issued, and on June 3, patrol deputies contacted White at his residence. He was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, and booked on the following charge:
- Possession of Exploitative Material (Class 5 Felony)
White is currently being held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 10 at 8:30 a.m.
