A verbal disturbance was reported shortly after 8:00 p.m. at Reed Park after callers reported two people yelling and one man damaging trash cans and construction property.
Radio traffic indicated the male was intoxicated, unarmed, wearing a white cap and a gray shirt and carrying a red skateboard. Officers said he fled the park, jumped fences eastbound on Maple near Aspen. The suspect was quickly detained by police after a short foot pursuit. No injuries were reported.
