Emergency crews responded around 6:30 a.m. to a single-vehicle rollover on the I-70 Business Loop at 30 Road. Mesa County sheriff’s deputies and fire and EMS units were initially dispatched with lights and sirens to the eastbound median.
Radio traffic indicated the truck was upside down, resting on its roof in the median of the eastbound lanes. A 49-year-old male was reported conscious, breathing and out of the vehicle; the extent of his injuries was unknown. Deputies on scene later advised incoming units to reduce to a routine response while crews continued to investigate. Possible minor to moderate injuries.
