A vehicle pursuit was broadcast about 9:44 a.m. originating near B 1/2 Road and Apple Ridge Drive. Radio traffic indicated the suspect vehicle was southbound on 31 Road and then eastbound on Highway 50 near 31 Road. Deputies reported traveling at roughly 70 mph and attempted a PIT maneuver. Units said the vehicle was PIT maneuvered into a nearby road ditch.
The male driver then ran toward 31 Road and was described over the radio as wearing a gray camo shirt and black shorts and running very slowly. Suspect was very quickly taken into custody by sheriff deputies. The male was wanted for multiple drug related warrants. No injuries were reported.
