Law enforcement responded around 9:30 p.m. to the area of North Avenue and N 16th Street after an officer on the radio stated he was holding a male suspect at gun point.
Officers reported the subject pulled up his shirt and reached toward his waistband before entering the an apartment in the area. Responders advised they located a box of 9mm ammunition in the suspect’s vehicle and requested an officer with a long rifle and vehicle cover. Radio traffic also indicated the subject has an outstanding warrant for third-degree assault and vehicular eluding.
No injuries or arrests were currently reported.
