Brush crews were dispatched about 2:41 p.m. to reports of a brush fire located near Highway 330 at mile marker 9. Brush units including Brush 93, water tenders and law enforcement were assigned to the incident.
Radio traffic indicated the fire had spotted into a field north of the highway and was spreading through grass, and crews said it was threatening a structure. A water tender reported it was full and en route.
