Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover in the 1000 block of East Laura Avenue. Lower Valley fire units were sent with lights and sirens and a Fruita Police were on scene.
Radio traffic indicated a Toyota Corolla had rolled onto its roof. A female driver and a 10-month-old infant were inside; the infant was safely removed from the vehicle and responders reported everyone was conscious and breathing with no obvious injuries. The driver was reported to smell of alcohol. Additional traffic complaints in the area about a reckless driver and an intoxicated driver are likely related to this same incident.
