A possible felony menacing was reported about 1:04 p.m. at Teller Avenue and Sparn Street. Grand Junction Police were dispatched to the area after a caller reported one person on the ground and another person possibly with a firearm.
Scanner traffic described the suspect as a male wearing a camo backpack, jeans, a black shirt, carrying a large backpack and accompanied by a dog. Police safely detained the suspect, and are in contact with a possible victim stating only a verbal argument occurred.
Officers are on scene and are continuing to investigate the incident.
