A bear was reported wandering through a residential neighborhood, last seen near the 2800 block of Holloway Avenue and the area around East and West Pagosa Drive. Grand Junction Police advised Colorado Parks and Wildlife of the sightings and units were checking the area, including near the intersection of Woodworth and Holloway.
Officers requested a reverse 911 notification from dispatch to alert residents within a half-mile radius. No injuries were reported in the live scanner traffic and responders continued to monitor the neighborhood, including the 2000 block of Cortland Avenue.
