False Alarm Rescue, Hwy 340 & River

A false alarm water rescue was reported shortly after 8:15 p.m. on the Colorado River west of the Highway 340 bridge. Fire/EMS and law enforcement units were dispatched and responded with lights and sirens.

Radio traffic indicated a 47-year-old male possibly needed rescued from a raft in the river. Responders contacted the male who said he was not in need of any assistance.
