GRAND JUNCTION, CO — A 29-year-old man was arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly violating a protection order, threatening a woman’s life, and repeatedly eluding law enforcement.
On July 18, at approximately 10:16 a.m., Grand Junction Police Department officers responded to a reported restraining order violation in progress in the 200 block of Rice Street.
Investigators learned that the suspect, identified as Nolan Hall, 29, attempted to prevent a woman from leaving in a vehicle before getting on a motorcycle and following her in violation of a protection order. Officers also determined the two were involved in an ongoing domestic dispute and that Hall had recently threatened to kill the victim. A warrant was issued for Hall’s arrest, but he continued to evade officers during multiple contact attempts, resulting in an additional warrant being issued.
On Friday, July 24, at approximately 2:20 p.m., officers successfully located Hall in the 1900 block of Grand Avenue and took him into custody without incident.
Hall was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where he was booked on two unrelated active warrants out of Montrose County and Mesa County, along with the new charges for this case:
- Vehicular Eluding
- Harassment – Follow Person in Public Place
- Harassment – Repeat Telephone Calls
- Violation of a Protection Order
- Domestic Violence
