GRAND JUNCTION, CO — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died early Thursday morning after exiting a moving vehicle.
Vivian Mora, a 25-year-old resident of the Grand Junction area, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a media release issued by the coroner’s office, an autopsy has been completed, which showed Mora died from injuries sustained in the motor vehicle incident.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of July 30, 2026. Grand Junction Police Department officers originally responded at approximately 12:40 a.m. to the area of E Road and Ol Sun Drive. The coroner’s report states that Mora was a passenger in an automobile and exited the vehicle while it was in motion on the roadway near E Road and Sheldon Road.
