Fire crews and EMS responded shortly after 5:05 p.m. to a possible structure fire at a duplex in the 3100 block of Lakeside Way. A reporting party said smoke was coming from an electrical junction box and that a fire extinguisher had been used. No active flames were visible when crews arrived.
Firefighters determined the fire was out and ventilated the basement while checking behind drywall for extension. Radio traffic indicated the issue appeared isolated to the electrical panel. No injuries were reported, and most responding units were released after the scene was brought under control.
