A single-vehicle crash involving a Nissan Rogue and a light pole was reported around 5:48 p.m. in the 600 block of North Avenue. Grand Junction police and Engine 3 responded to the scene with emergency traffic after the pole fell into the roadway and blocked traffic in both directions.
A male driver was reported conscious and breathing after getting out of the vehicle, but witnesses believed he might be injured and appeared to be passing out. The eastbound and westbound traffic were reduced to one lane while crews worked at the scene.
