A two-vehicle crash involving a CSP trooper was reported shortly after 11:22 a.m. on 32 Road just south of B Road. Mesa County Fire Authority and law enforcement responded with lights and sirens. Radio traffic indicated a white Ford Explorer was involved and the trooper’s vehicle had rolled over.
The trooper was out of the vehicle, conscious and breathing, with bleeding from the top of the head, a lump near the left eye, and cuts and bleeding on the arms. No one was reported trapped. Traffic was blocked by vehicles and debris, and responders also reported a possible third vehicle involved. Deputies and state patrol are on scene investigating.
